The 118th Millrose Games are just around the corner! Stay tuned for athlete announcements and ticket info in the coming months.
Welcome to the historic Millrose Games, the world’s premier indoor track and field event! The meet began back in 1908, when the Millrose Athletic Association was formed by employees of the John Wanamaker Department Store. For nearly 100 years, Millrose took place at the legendary Madison Square Garden, where legends of the sport such as Loren Murchison, Paavo Nurmi, Eamonn Coghlan, Cheryl Toussaint, Carl Lewis, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Bernard Lagat, and many others made their names and built their legacies. In 2012, the Millrose Games found a new home at the The Armory, a state-of-the-art facility that has been nicknamed “The Fastest Track in the World." Millrose features top quality competition at every level, with youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and masters athletes all coming together to test their limits. The signature events of the Millrose Games are the NYRR Wanamaker Miles, a nod to the incredible history of this meet. In recent, Yared Nuguse and Elle St. Pierre have each set American Records while winning the NYRR Wanamaker Mile, with Nuguse breaking the World Record in 2025. Countless records have fallen over the past 116 editions of Millrose, with many more being set each year.
